John Michael Kohler Arts Center
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin holds the most substantial collection of the work of Stella Waitzkin–over 700 individual pieces. The Center, which has a special interest in honoring and preserving artist-constructed environments, acquired a large segment of the lived environment that Stella Waitzkin constructed around herself over decades while living in an apartment at the Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan.
